The Rev. U.S. Smith performed the ceremony at eight o'clock. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Stump of this city accompanied the happy couple. The bride was gowned in white silk and the bridesmaid wore an attractive street costume. The couple will reside at Letts and left this city immediately for their new home." In the 1940s William was "extra agent telegrapher" at Letts, IA for the Chicago & North Western Railway.
