She was reunited with her father that was honorably lost in action during WWII when she was an infant. Born on April 18, 1943, to Daniel P. and Dorothy J. Handy, Donna was always proud to say she grew up in Indian River in Addison, Maine. She was a 1961 graduate of Jonesport High School. For much of her childhood, Donna lived with and was lovingly raised by her grandparents, Maynard and Florence Gray, along with her siblings, aunts, and uncle. During her high school years, she lived with Uncle Chester and Aunt Margaret, where she was thought of as one of their own. In the summer of 1958, Donna met her future husband, Ordman Alley, at a carnival in Jonesport, where he spent all of his money trying to win her a stuffed bear. The two went on to share 57 wonderful years of marriage. Donna coached cheering for 26 years at both Beals High School and Jonesport Beals High School. She also served as a Cub Scout troop leader for many years and was a longtime member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Among the many joys in her life, Donna took pride in her work at Jasper Wyman & Sons, where she remained until retirement. She was always willing to help with community suppers and town events, was well known for her exceptional fudgemaking, and kept a home worthy of a magazine spread. Later in life, she loved spending part of her winters in Zephyrhills, Florida, among many family members and friends from Maine. Donna was a devoted wife and mother that made sure her family was taken care of first and foremost. Special friends who enriched Donna's life include, Beatrice Ann Dodge, Lenore Faulkingham, Bertha Brown (deceased), Donnie Alley, Jr., Rosalie Carver (deceased), Gail and Dave Fickett, Judy Handy, Norma and Lew Milam, Eva Beal, Barbara Matthews (deceased), Lizzie Alley (deceased), Frances Alley, and many more. Donna was predeceased by her beloved husband, Ordman Alley Sr.; brothers, Daniel and Donald Handy; brother, Gary Alley; aunt and uncle, Margaret and Chester Lenfesty; in-laws, Donald and Lizzie Alley; and granddaughters, Brooke Alley and Brittany Alley Estes. She will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by her daughter, Kimberly Davis and husband, Jeff; son, Ordman Alley Jr. and wife, Donna; and son, Troy Alley and wife, Bobbie. Donna's treasured grandchildren are Jessika (Dan) Frye, Jeffery (Flori) Davis, Matthew (Courtney) Alley, Ryan (Emma) Alley, Kali Alley, Kaci (Quinten Minni), and Karli Alley. Her greatgrandchildren are Haylee, Taylor, Kaleb, Riley, Owen, Adaline, Harper, Emersyn, and Lincoln. Donna is survived by siblings, Gail Fickett and her husband, Dave, Kathy Doyle, Karen Sawyer and Larry Alley; aunt, Norma Milam and husband, Lew; sisters-in-law, Joyce Alley and Judy Handy; brother-in-law, Donald Alley Jr. and companion, Todd Croteau; and many special cousins, nieces, and nephews."

He encouraged Christian missionaries and built many churches, but allowed religious freedom to Jews and Moslems. At the Synod of Szabolcs (1092) he instituted a series of laws on religious and civil matters. Chosen to lead the armies of the First Crusade, he died before assuming command.
