Surviving are her daughter, Beverly Pinkham and husband, Dale Griffin, of Lewiston; son, Paul Joy and his wife Linda, of Gouldsboro; also 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Joy; sons, George and Jack; and brothers, Alfred and Richard Mitchell."

[14602] Find A Grave Memorial 116924174 provides Nellie's parents and offers: "Miss Osgood was married to Burton S. Gilman on October 19, 1897 at Gardner. Burton was a minister and Nellie was a librarian at the time. Nellie married second to, the founder of the Simplex Time Recorder Co., Mr. Edward G. Watkins. The Watkins family has a very large plot in the back corner of Crystal Lake Cemetery surrounded by a black iron fence. Nellie's name is on that memorial but according to the city's cemetery list she is actually buried with her first husband, Rev. Gilman."
