[59901] "The Bangor Daily Nws [Bangor, Maine]," 16 July 2025: "New Bern, North Carolina - Dr. Paul Reginald Greenlaw, 54, passed away on July 8, 2025, at Carolina East Medical Center in New Bern, NC, surrounded by his beloved family. Born in Deer Isle, ME, on February 22, 1971, to Paul and Judy Greenlaw, Paul was a brilliant and compassionate orthopedic surgeon, who dedicated his life to healing others. Over a remarkable career, he performed more than 15,000 procedures, earning a reputation as one of the nation's foremost knee surgeons. His skill was matched only by the deep trust and comfort he gave his patients. Paul studied at the University of Maine and Tufts Medical School, later completing his Adult Reconstruction Fellowship at Duke University in 2003. He began his career at Duke before moving to Wilson Orthopedic and Sports seeking closer connections with his patients. In 2013 he relocated with his family to New Bern, NC, where his thriving practice drew patients from across the country. As a sought-after consultant for Smith & Nephew, Paul traveled to teach and advise follow surgeons. Still, his heart always remained with his patients and surgical team, who he considered family. His personal motto was 'In my hands,' reflected care, precision and integrity he brought to every operation. Paul was a devoted husband to Heather, and a loving father to Hadley and Hayden. He was Hayden's biggest fan on the golf course and took great joy in Hadley's culinary creations. His cherished dogs, Honey Bun and Birdie Belle - with Honey Bun even featured on his scrub caps. Outside of the operating room, Paul found joy in golf, especially at Old Chatham and the New Bern Golf and Country Club. He had fond memories of playing at the Island Country Club in Deer Isle, where he learned to play golf as a young boy and made many lasting friends, especially Chris Ritz and Shawn Webb. He was know for his quick wit, love of sweets (always with a spoon ready for 'just a bite'), and his uncanny ability to fix anything - from cars to golf clubs to perfectly manicured Bermuda-grass lawns. Paul is survived by his wife, Heather; his children, Hadley and Hayden; his mother, Judy Greenlaw; his sister, Patsy and her husband, Micheal Boutilier; niece and nephew, Douglas and Sarah Boutilier; great-niece, Lillian Haskell; special aunt, Evelyn Siebert; and many dear friends, colleagues, and patients whose lives he touched. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Leroy Greenlaw."

[790] Blanche m. (2) Edmund Plantagenet, 10-29-1276, thought by some to be father of Jeanne or Joanna, Queen of Navarre (ID823). http://www.guide2womenleaders.com offers: "After the death of her husband Henri I (1270-74), she was regent for daughter Juana I, and various powers, both foreign and from Navarra, sought to take advantage of the minority of the heiress and the weakness of the female regent. She left the administration of Navarra to King Philippe III of England after her marriage to Edmund Crouchback, 1st Earl of Lancaster (1245-1296), brother of Edward I of England, and they administered Champagne until Juana came of age in 1284. She was the daughter of count Robert I of Artois, and the granddaughter of Louis VIII of France, mother of four children with her second husband. . . ."
