She was born May 8, 1944, in Blue Hill to Emery L. Grindle and Phoebe L. Young. Mary graduated from Ellsworth High School in 1962. She was an avid horse lover that was involved with different horse clubs in the area. She was a member of the Surry Arbutus Grange. Mary was predeceased by her parents and a son James E. Rafferty. She is survived by her husband, Larry L. Astbury, of 44 years, a son Greg Rafferty (Rick) of Monmouth, a daughter Judy Jones (Bud) of Fredericksburg, Va., and a son Jeff Rafferty (Tracy) of Surry, two sisters Ida Reed of Ellsworth and Carol Murphy of East Blue Hill, 20 grandchildren and great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews."
[38537] Her marriage record - "Pennsylvania, County Marriages, 1885-1950," index and images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/KHX9-RRS) - states Lillian is daughter of Chester Hastings and Elizabeth Withrow.

http://www.renderplus.com/hartgen/htm/littlefield.htm offers: "Francis Littlefield - was born on 17 Jun 1619 in Tichfield, Hampshire, England and died in 1712 in prob. Dover, NH . He was the son of Edmund Littlefield and Annis (Agnes) Austin. Francis married Jane Hill about 1646 in Woburn, Mass. She is the daughter of Ralph Hill and Elizabeth Parker. Then Francis married Rebecca Rust on 27 Apr 1648 in Wells, ME. Then Francis married Mary Wade before 1689 in Wells, ME. Francis, the oldest son , has a percular history. At about the age of 7 or 8 he disappeared from his father's house. That he was born about 1619 is supported by the fact that that he was required to sign the submission to Massachusetts in 1653. This Francis did not come over with his mother on the Belvis. (Source: History of Wells and Kennebunk pg 73-74) (From Noyes, Libby & Davis; Genealogical Dictionary of Maine and New Hampshire; p.438): The oft-told story of his separation from his family was the imagining of some one trying to account for two brothers of the same name, and not unlikely he accompanied his father here, but moved around before settling in Wells, where (he was) granted 50 acres by orges in 1643.
http://www.one-barton-family.us/genealogy/viva reports Francis "resided in 1648 in Dover, Strafford Co., New Hampshire. He took the oath of fidelity to Massachusetts on 5 Jul 1653 in Wells, York Co., Maine. He died in Nov 1712 in Wells, York Co., Maine. He died before 15 Jan 1713 in Wells, York Co., Maine. He was a farmer/miller/innkeeper." http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~silversmiths/7/11631.htm states "Francis Littlefield was born on 17 Jun 1619 in Titchfield, Hampshire, England, christened on 17 Jun 1619 in Titchfield, Hampshire, England, died on 15 Jan 1712 in Well,s York, ME and was buried in 1712 in Wells, York, ME)" and gives his children with Rebecca Rust.

[61601] David's obituary: "Gouldsboro - David Edward Wilkinson, 80, passed away on February 23, 2026, at an Ellsworth hospital. He was born on June 18, 1945, the son of Alan F. and Evelyn C. (Hammond) Wilkinson. After graduating from high school, David enlisted in the United States Navy, where he served for four years. David became an electrician and started his own company, Wilkinson Electric. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Beverly Jean (Walls) Wilkinson, son Brad Wilkinson, daughter Sarah (Wilkinson) Zayas, and three grandchildren. David was a light in our lives. He focused on the positive in every situation. David chose to live his life to the fullest, and everyone who knew him had a deep admiration for his strength and determination. His real joy was being in his garden, growing vegetables and flowers, and crawling around pulling weeds. He was most at peace being surrounded by nature."
