[41565] "The Daily Item [Sunbury, PA], 11 May 1978," p. 8: "Selinsgrove - George A. Aucker, 84, Selinsgrove RD3, died at the home of his son, Dr. Ralph S. Aucker, 57 W. Main St., Elizabethville, Wednesday evening. He was a retired farmer. Mr. Aucker was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Verdilla, Selinsgrove RD; Victory Post 25, American Legion, Selinsgrove; Veterans of World War I of USA, Inc. Barracks No. 1180 of Pennsylvania; Snyder County Historical Society; and the Senior Citizens of Snyder County. He also was a veteran of World War I. Born in 1893, In Union Township, Snyder County, he was a son of the late William and Elizabeth Reigel Aucker. His wife, the former Mabel A. Wentzel, died in 1964. Survivors, in addition to his son, are a daughter, Mrs. Charles Streeper of Norristown; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren."

[47332] "The Oil City Derrick [Oil Ciy, PA] 1 April 1976," p. 14: "Mardine E. Harp, 55, of Marienville, died al 1:30 pm Tuesday al the home of her Larry E. Harp of Pittsburgh after a lingering illness. Born September 9, 1920 in Corry, she was a daughter Frank J. and Elsie Mae Bullock. She was married June 11, 1918 to Robert E. Harp, who died January 31,1971. Mrs. Harp was a member Marienville United Methodist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Donna White of Desline, Fla. and Barbara at home; five sons, James Desline, Fla , Larry E. of Pittsburgh, Donald of Marienville, Kenneth, in the Air Force at Hawaii and Darrell of Marienvllle; five brothers, George of Elm Grove, Wisc., Harold, Dean, Robert and Myron BuJlock, all of Clarendon; three sisters, Margaret Lockwood of Salamanca, N.Y., Katherine Steele and Mrs. Hazel Seranick, both of Warren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Blaine and Charles Bullock."
