[59824] "The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 9 November 2023: "Orono, Maine - Carl Bruce Farnsworth, 'Pat Junior' passed away November 6, 2023, at his home on Pushaw Lake after battling a series of strokes. He was born February 8, 1947. 'Bruce' leaves everyone with many fond memories at the restaurant, Pat's Pizza, in Orono. Over the years he built the name 'Pat's Pizza' into a household name all over the state of Maine and beyond. He would travel with his wife, Carolyn, throughout the country. During vacations in the Caribbean, someone would inevitably yell when they saw him 'hey Brucie Farnsworth is that you?' Bruce also built a great reputation around the world of car enthusiast. His passion for Ford Shelby Mustangs carried him far. His first car he restored was a 1931 model A at the age of fourteen years old. Also, at the age of fourteen, Bruce learned to play the drums and continued to play for 62 years with several different local bands. While Bruce and Carolyn were in Florida years ago, Bruce took up golf. After six months of being left home, Carolyn picked up the sport as well. Up until the golfing season ended there was quite a bit of competition between the two of them. Surviving in addition to his wife, Carolyn (Goodspeed) Farnsworth, are his daughter, Melissa Harper and her husband, James, his son, C.D. Farnsworth and his wife, Bobbie Joe; his three grandchildren, Corey, Taylor, and Cody; his sister, Ann Rosebush and her husband, Lewis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and a very special friend of 42 years, John Kyle. In addition to his parents, Bruce was predeceased by his brother, George; and his sister, Pamela."
