He was born on October 29, 1953, in Bangor to William and Caroline (Lydick) Wescott. Bob was a graduate of Bucksport High School and then went to work at St. Regis and retired from International Paper in 2004. He enjoyed watching sports, body building, metal detecting, dabbled in gardening and monitoring the stock exchange. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Lourdes 'Lolly' Wescott in 2004; both of his parents, stepfather, Tony Arace; brother, William; and niece, Tonya. He is survived by his sister, Barbara Wescott; his special sister-in-law, Sharon Liberty; and special brother-in-law, Lou Arasate. He is also survived by his children, Lisa Varnum, husband, Timothy; son, Eric Moran, wife, Wendy; son, Derek Moran and partner, Steve Martin; son, Richard Moran, wife, Andrea; son, Robby Wescott Jr.; six beloved grandchildren; as well as six great-grandchildren, and special nieces and nephews."
