Born July 21, 1906 in Duquesne, she was the daughter of the late Ernest G. and Mary Keck Teichart and the widow of Charles J. McKain Sr., who died March 18, 1967. Mrs. McKain was a 1926 graduate of Chatham College, Pittsburgh and a high school English teacher. She was a member of Bradford Woods Church, Bradford which she helped establish; and the American Association of University Women. Surviving are a daughter, Sally A. Bryan of Carlisle; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Charles J. McKain Jr., who died in 1967."
