[55374] "The Ellsworth American [Ellsworthl, Maine]," 26 December 2023: "Jacqueline (Jackie) Hayes Young, 82, earned her wings on Dec. 23, 2023, following a brief illness. She was born on July 25, 1941, to Thomas and Dora Hayes in Stacyville, where she grew up as one of six children. Jackie was a devoted wife and mother. She loved nothing more than spending time with her family and having everyone around the dinner table to share a meal. In addition to her love of family and friends, she was known for her love of all fur babies, most especially Chloe, her faithful companion to the very end. She retired from Aetna Insurance Company in Connecticut before moving to their retirement home in Ellsworth. Jackie is survived by her husband of nearly 60 years, Barry Young of Ellsworth; her son, Tim Young of Ellsworth; her daughter, Holly Pattavina and son-in-law Dave Pattavina of Moodus, Conn.; grandchildren Lindsay Pattavina, Ben Pattavina, Andy Young, Abbie Young and Griffy Young; sister Queenie Bragg of Exeter; nephew Martin Bracket, whom she loved like another son; numerous nieces and nephews, and her best friend since grade school, Rita Corliss. She was predeceased by her son, Barry Young, Jr., her parents, her sister Violet Brackett, and brothers Dale Hayes, Earl Hayes, and Thomas Hayes, Jr. The family would like to extend their thanks to two special nurses who showed remarkable kindness during the past two months - Nurse Taylorae of Maine Coast Hospital in Ellsworth; and Nurse Sarah, Haskell Wing at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor."
[7910] "News-Journal [Mansfield, Ohio], 2 December 1958," p. 21: "Will of Cloyd H. McQuate, late of Shiloh, leaves estate valued at $12,510 to wife, Frances W. McQuate, and $150 each to daughters, Gertrude Adams and Helen Gordon."
