[61568] Bobbie's obituary: "Presque Isle, Maine - Bobbie Ireland, 84, passed away Friday, March 13, 2020, in Presque Isle. She was born in Presque Isle on June 11, 1935, the daughter of Stedman and Eileen (Kelley) Thompson. She was the youngest of three girls. She loved going to her grandparents' farm in St. Francis, where she spent time with her many aunts and uncles. When she was older she worked in her father's drug store, Rexall Pharmacy on Main Street. Later she met her husband of 61 years, Ray Ireland. She loved to read, write, garden and care for her pets; but her greatest joy was her children. She had seven children: Bill Ireland, Ted Ireland, Kim (Wendy) Ireland, Becky (Albert) Martin, Pam (Gene) Lynch, John (Lynn) Ireland and Sherry (Lance) Plissey; eleven grandchildren: Cary Herrera, Jason Ireland, Emily Mosher, Aaron Martin, Jessica Martin, Nick Lynch, Chris Lynch, Benji Lynch, Jeremy Buck, Dylan Plissey and Jake Plissey; and twelve great grandchildren. She will also be missed by her special sister in law Ethel Condon. Not only was she a beautiful lady outside she was beautiful inside as well. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Ray; her son Teddy; her granddaughter Cary and great granddaughter Carly; and her special in laws Hilda and Vernon Ireland."
