"Guy de MONTLHÉRY, surnommé le Rouge, comte de Rochefort en Yveline, seigneur de Gournay-sur-Marne & de Crécy-en-Brie, élevé à la dignité de sénéchal de France par le roy Philippes I. vers l'an 1093. Il se démit de cette charge pour suivre la croisade en 1097. & fut rétabli au retour de cette expédition au commencement de l'an 1100. Le roy l'envoya en 1107. à la Charité sur Loire pour recevoir le pape Paschal II. qui étoit entré en France, ce voyage fut suivi de la dissolution du mariage contracté par sa fille avec le roy Louis le Gros, il en fut si touché qu'il se retira de la cour après avoir donné la démission de sa charge, laquelle fut donnée à son fils. Il mourut avant le mois d'août 1108. & fut enterré au prieuré de Gournay qu'il avoit fondé. - m . Élizabeth de CRÉCY, veuve [widow] de Bouchard II. comte de Corbeil."
