She was born September 24, 1955, in Jonesport, Maine to the late Joyce Ramsdell Woodward and Homer Woodward Sr. She lived and worked in Maine for most of her adult life where she was a dedicated employee of Downeast Community Hospital as the Central Services Coordinator for over 40 years. She was a graduate of Framingham State College in Framingham, Massachusetts where she also spent most of her childhood, and as a young adult worked as a licensed real estate broker. Gloria was a loving and caring person who was always the first to help someone in need. She deeply loved all of her family, friends, and pets. She is survived by her siblings: Homer Woodward Jr. and wife, Deborah, of Cherryfield, ME, Brenda and husband, Brian Kelly, of Hopkinton, MA, and Evans Woodward of Hopkinton, MA; many loving nieces and nephews; three aunts: Lillian Shaw of Harrington, ME, who was much like a second mother, Gloria Flaherty of Addison, ME, and Marion Plummer and husband, Michael, of Harrington, ME; an uncle, Everett Ramsdell of Harrington, ME, and many special cousins.
