[60040] "The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 4 January 2024: "Old Town, Maine - Larry G. Beal, 88, passed away peacefully December 28, 2023, at his home, surrounded by family. He was born February 15, 1935, in Milford, the son of Lloyd and Alice (Reed) Beal. As an avid outdoorsman, Larry enjoyed hunting, fishing and trapping. He was also a devoted family man; his family, especially his grandchildren, were his pride and joy. He proudly served in the United States Army, in the Korean War. Every day, he would have lunch with his wife, Beverly at Coach House Restaurant, Brewer. Larry had a soft spot for children. He made sure he had a pocket full of rare coins at all time, to give to them whenever he saw them during lunch. Surviving Larry are his sister, Velma Commeau; sons, Mark, Wayne; daughter, Kathy; stepchildren, Ann Heitmann, Ted Khoury, and Kim Kelley. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Beverly; brothers, Lloyd, Ronald, Mahlon and Dale; sisters, Grace and Louise Commeau; and stepdaughter, Debra Holmes."

[7800] "The Perry County Times [New Bloomfield, PA], 19 March 1953," p.5: "Mrs. Sara Alice Lightner, aged 86, widow of the late Frank P. Lightner, passed away Thursday afternoon, Mar. 5, at the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. Julia Waverich, near Allentown. She was a daughter of the late J. C. Rickard and wife, of Loysville, where she was born and grew up. She was united in marriage with Frank P. Lightner and to this union were born two daughters, Mrs. Emma Boggs, of Womelsdorf, Pa., and Mrs. Cyrus (Helen) Stakes, of Wormleysburg, who survive; also several grandchildren. Many years ago the Lightners were engaged in a general store business, in Landisburg. A number of years later they sold out to D. W. Wertz and moved to Loysville where they built a home and Mr. Lightner was employed by the Newport and Shermans Valley R. R. as ticket and express agent until the abandonment of the railroad. While in Loysville the family were members of the Lebanon Reformed Church, where they were active. Some years ago Mr. and Mrs. Lightner moved to Harrisburg where they united with the Reformed Church at Fourth and Maclay streets. Funeral services were held Monday, March 9, at 2 p. m., at the Myers funeral home, Newport, the same being conducted by her pastor, Rev. Truman Crist. Interment was made in Restland Cemetery, Loysville."
