His obituary is in "The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 19 November 1948, p. 22: "Howard S. Leach, 61, a native of Penobscot, former librarian at Princeton University and Lehigh University and a veteran of World War I died Wednesday in Bethlehem, Pa. Leach was librarian on the ship which carried President Woodrow Wilson to Europe in 1919. He was librarian at Princeton for nine years and at Lehigh for 24 years, and was alao an author. He was born in Penobscot, son of Elmer and Hattie (Grindle) Leach. Leach was a graduate of Bucksport seminary, Wesleyan University in 1913, and Princeton University in 1919. Surviving are three brothers, Guy, Frank and Orrin, all of Penobscot; three sisters, Mrs. Neal Wardwell of Penobscot, Mrs. Doris McPhee of Washington, D C., and Mrs Martha Hall of Sorrento,"

Wasson and Martha Seaton according to the GenWeb site for ME which reports that he and Elizabeth also had Samuel (Jr.), Betsy ("Elisa"), Polly, David and Simeon. "Maritime History of Brooksville," LeCain W. Smith (Brooksville, ME Historical Society, 2005), p. 88 states "Son of John Wasson and Martha Seaton. Married Elizabeth Parker. This captain was a military man and merchant who built the sloop 'Polly & Hannah' with John Wasson in 1800. In 1820 he built the schooner 'Brooksville,' which sailed for 25 years. He owned her with people from Castine and other places."

Born January 3, 1936 in Mechanicsburg, he was the son of the late Henry C. and Jessie B. (Garman) Weber. Vance was a U.S. Army veteran, an avid farmer, and was a multi-million-mile safe driver for Roadway Express prior to his retirement. He was a lifelong member of Shepherdstown United Methodist Church. Surviving is his wife, Eleanor (Criswell) Weber; his children, Karen Weber, Todd Weber, and Wanda Julias, all of Mechanicsburg; as well as his grandchildren, Kaylin Mae and Jesse Weber Julias, also of Mechanicsburg. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Richard, Milton, and Robert Weber."
