[52086] "The Ellsworth American [Ellsworth, Maine], 18 June 2019": "Franklin - Warren Perry 'Pard' Higgins, 67, died unexpectedly in a vehicle accident on June 11, 2019. He was born on July 6, 1951, in Bar Harbor to Warren H. Higgins and Ruby A. Hodgdon. As a child he was adopted by Bessie Morris and William Junior 'June' Morris. Pard grew up on Frenchboro, which is where his love of the ocean began. He did it all: scalloping, lobstering and everything in between. He was a very hard working man who could do anything he put his mind to. This work ethic and mindset was instilled in his children. Pard was a caring, compassionate man who would help anyone in need. He always had a way of making anyone feel special and loved. Pard was a family man who loved his children and grandsons more than anything. Always there to lend a hand, he was the kind of father that gave his kids the confidence to do anything in the world. Pard was also involved in the local country music scene. When he was young he would stand on the corner and sing Elvis songs to all who would listen. He had a lifelong passion for music and donated much of his time to help those in need. Pard is survived by fiancée Kimberly Murphy of Bar Harbor, children Warren 'Pard' Higgins II and partner JennyJo Soucy, Luke Higgins and wife, Christie, Katie Higgins and partner Blake Parsons, siblings Sandi Lunt and Aaron Higgins. He was especially proud to be 'GrandPard' to his grandsons Warren and Mason."

[33577] The unverified OneWorldTree in Ancestry.com in 2012 provides Henderson and Joanna and states he is son of Joseph Moore (b. 1828 in PA) and Harriet Barr (b. 1828 in OH, m. 9 Nov 1848 in Franklin Twp., Richland Co., OH). Ancestry.com offers: "Moore Name Meaning - English: from Middle English more 'moor', 'marsh', 'fen', 'area of uncultivated land' (Old English mor), hence a topographic name for someone who lived in such a place or a habitational name from any of the various places named with this word, as for example Moore in Cheshire or More in Shropshire. English: from Old French more 'Moor' (Latin maurus). The Latin term denoted a native of northwestern Africa, but in medieval England the word came to be used informally as a nickname for any swarthy or dark-skinned person. English: from a personal name (Latin Maurus 'Moor'). This name was borne by various early Christian saints. The personal name was introduced to England by the Normans, but it was never as popular in England as it was on the Continent. Irish: Anglicized form of Gaelic Ó Mórdha 'descendant of Mórdha', a byname meaning 'great', 'proud', or 'stately'. Scottish: see Muir. Welsh: from Welsh mawr 'big', applied as a nickname or distinguishing epithet."
[54499] Margaret is daughter of William Stillman Rich (1881-1947) & Emma Hooper Crocket (1884-1948).
