[12267] Nicholas was lord of the baronies of Cottingham, Yorkshire, and Liddle Strength, Cumberland. http://members.tripod.com/gpf/worldhistory.html offers: King "John levied massive reliefs (inheritance duties) on some barons: Nicholas de Stuteville, for example, was charged 10,000 marks (about £6,666) to inherit his brother's lands in 1205." As might be supposed, Nicholas was among the Barons who confronted John at Runnymede in 1215. His possible ancestry is given by http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/jglanville/roanhg5.htm, based on Dugdale's "Baronies," etc. See "The Dormant and Extinct Baronage of England ...," Thomas Christopher Banks (London: 1807), Vol. 1, p. 175.
[41282] Uriah is son of Henry Frymoyer and Susan Brugger. "Harrisburg Telegraph [Harrisburg, Pennsylvania], 17 May 1929," p. 8: "Liverpool, May 17. Funeral services will be conducted at the St. James' Church, Saturday afternoon, by the Rev. Gilbert, of Fremont."
[29423] The Syer Family Tree on Ancestry.com in 2009 states John m. (1) in 1779 Anna Catherine Harter (1757-1800) and that John is son of Johann Georg Heim (b. 1730 in Nufringen, Schwartzwald, Baden-Wuerttemberg, Germany, d. in Sept 1815 in Klingerstown, PA) and wife Anna Margaretha _____..
[45075] Find A Grave memorial 68855458 offers: "Born at Boeckingen, near Heilbronn, Germany. On May 27, 1743, she was married to Johann Michael Muecke at Herrnhaag, Germany, simultaneously with the marriage of 23 other couples destined for Nazareth, Pa. She afterwards served with her husband in the school at Frederickstown and at other places. She left four sons. The Pennsylvania German Society 1910 Vol. 21 on page 58 lists Eva Catherine Muecke, maiden name Muezner, born 1720 at Boeckingen, near Heilbronn, Germany. [1719] In 1034 Sancho gave Navarre to Garcias, Castile to Ferdinand, Sobrava to Gonzales and Aragon to Ramirez. Sancho's kingdom included Navarre, Castile, Leon, Sobrava and Ribagorza; Castile had come to him after his father-in-law's son was murdered in 1026. Sancho founded the Sanchez Dynasty of Castile, Aragon and Navarre (1000-1284). His life and times are dramatically portrayed in "The Last Apocalypse: Europe at the Year 1000 A.D.," James Reston, Jr. (New York: Doubleday, 1998), pp. 156ff. http://www.san.beck.org/AB17-FeudalEurope.html reports: "Navarre king Sancho Garcés III (r. 1000-1035) developed more contacts with feudal France and its church reforms while trying to conquer Christian Spain. Barcelona count Berenguer Ramon I (r. 1018-1035) became his vassal, and in 1034 Sancho III occupied Leon and proclaimed himself emperor of Spain. However, when he died the next year, his realms were divided among his four sons, resulting in a dynastic civil war." Also see "A History of Aragon and Catalonia," H. J. Chaytor, Chapter 3 - on line at http://libro.uca.edu/chaytor/hac3.htm. Cf. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sancho_III_of_Navarre.
