[13537] "The Brookville American [Brookville, Pennsylvania], 4 March 1948," p. 7: "A native of Coolspring, and a Jefferson county resident for many years, Mrs. Neva Peddicord, 67, died in her Saltsburg home Thursday, February 26. The deceased was born November 1, 1880, the daughter of John and Mary Geist Dobson, and spent her early life in the Coolspring community. She was united in marriage to Banks Peddicord who preceded her in death. A resident of Saltsburg for the past 42 years, she was a member of the Methodist church of that place. Surviving are one son, Walter E. at home; two daughters, Mrs. Edith Lambing, Upper Darby and Mrs. Hazel Johnston, Alliance, Ohio. Also surviving are three grandchildren, one great grandchild and a brother, Roy Dobson, of Punxsutawney. Funeral services were held in the Robinson Funeral Home in Saltsburg Saturday, February 28, with interment in the Saltsburg Cemetery."
