[19308] Catherine Armstrong (at http://castlewales.com/mar_chld.html) reports: "Walter succeeded his brother Gilbert as his heir, but he was not invested with his lands, title, and offices until October 1241. Walter was married January 2, 1242 to Margaret (d1266), widow of John de Lacy, earl of Lincoln, and the daughter of Hawise, sister of Ranulf of Chester, and Robert de Quenci. Walter accompanied the king into Gascony at the end of 1242. Walter died November 24, 1245 at Goodrich castle. There are no records of what and how he died, and he left no children." [4950] The 1880 census shows Lester in his parents' home age 9. "Bellville Messenger," 19 January 1906, Vol. 13, No. 51 reported: "L.W. Paullin, a former resident of Butler, who conducted a dentist office here a few years ago, died at Mansfield last Thursday, aged 34 years. The funeral was conducted at St. John's Saturday at 10:30, by Rev. S .P. Keifer, of Perrysville." Lester was a boarder in the home of Flyde E. Wise in Worthington, Richland Co., OH at the time of the 1900 census and was then a dentist; the 1894 Mansfield City Directory shows him r. with father at 407 N. Main St. and states Lester is a clerk at "Myers Sisters".

[1029] Sarah was daughter of "Widow" Elizabeth Walker of Rehobeth --- Sarah was 17 when she came to America {-see "Hist. of Taunton, Mass.," by Emery, pp. 19-20}. Her husband, John Tisdale, was killed by Indians at Duxbury or Marshfield, Massachusetts. One source states she arrived on the "Elizabeth" with her brother, James.
