[24278] David Thaler reports Milon II m. Ermengarde and is son of Guy, Count de Tonnerre (d. 992, son of Milon I, Count de Tonnerre (d. ca. 987, m. Ingeltrude de Montreuil). In 2007 http://fmg.ac/Projects/MedLands/BURGUNDIAN%20NOBILITY.htm offers: "'Milone filiis meis' consented to the donation of Adalgaris dated 950. '. . . Adelæ comitissæ, Milonis comitis filii eius' subscribed the charter dated 8 Sep 975 under which 'Adelelmus miles' donated property to Saint-Benoît-sur-Loire for the souls of 'genitore meo Rotberto et genitrice mea Bertha et . . . Burcardo'. Comte de Tonnerre. He and his wife restored the monastery of St Michel de Tonnerre to aregular life in 980. He retired to become a monk at St Michel de Tonnerre. m Ingeltrude, daughter of ---. She and her husband restored the monastery of St Michel de Tonnerre to a regular life in 980. According to Europäische Stammtafeln, she was Ingeltrude de Brienne, possible daughter of Engelbert [I] de Brienne, but the basis for this speculation has not been found." Also see http://gilles.maillet.free.fr/histoire/famille_bourgogne/famille_arduin.htm#Milon_II which reports: "Milon II (v 979/998), fils de Gui III et de Gwendamode, Chevalier, Avoué de Romainmôtier, Seigneur de Montpont en Bresse, Comte de Tonnerre (998) ép. Mainsembriae, ... puis Ermengarde de Mâcon, fille d'Albéric II de Mâcon (?), Comte de Mâcon."
