He was preceded in death by his parents; William and Mary and a brother - Ralph. He was a deacon of the First Baptist Church in Mohave Valley, AZ for many years which he helped in the building of."

He married, thirdly, Lady Mary Stafford, daughter of Edward Stafford, 3rd Duke of Buckingham and Lady Eleanor Percy, circa June 1519. He married, fourthly, Mary Brooke after 1520. He died circa 1535. He was buried at Birling, Kent, England, although his heart was buried at Mereworth. His will (dated 4 June 1535) was probated on 24 January 1535/36. . . .He fought in the Battle of Blackheath on 17 June 1497, against the Cornish Rebels. He held the office of Constable of Dover Castle. He held the office of Chief Larderer at the coronation of King Henry VIII in 1509. On 18 December 1512 King Henry VIII granted him the castle and lands of Abergavenny. He held the office of Warden of the Cinque Ports in 1513. He was invested as a Knight, Order of the Garter (K.G.) on 23 April 1513. He held the office of Keeper of Ashdown Forest in 1515. He was invested as a Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1516. From 1521 to 1522 he was imprisoned on suspicion of conspiring with his father-in-law, the Duke of Buckingham. He held the office of Chief Larderer at the coronation of Anne Boleyn in 1533."
[40967] Find A Grave Memorial 67892814 reports "He came to Colrain from Brookfield, staying a while in Halifax,VT and Bernardston, MA. He purchased a 50 acre lot on the Green River on Sep 9, 1775. Veteran of the American Revolution. He served in Hugh McClellan's company of minutemen in 1777."
