She married Robert Llewellyn Scott on 8 January 1953, in Maine, United States. They were the parents of at least 1 son. She lived in Brewer, Penobscot, Maine, United States for about 5 years and Dover, Strafford, New Hampshire, United States in 1953. She died on 16 February 2022, in Rochester, Strafford, New Hampshire, United States, at the age of 89." Her obituary: "Dover - Rochester - Barbara Louise (Foster) Scott, 89, of Dover and Ossipee, NH, passed away at the Studley Home in Rochester, NH on Wednesday, February 16, 2022. Barbara married Robert 'Bud' Scott on January 8, 1953, who was in the USAF, and they moved to England, where he was stationed and their daughter Debra was born. In 1955 they settled in Dover, NH where sons Randall, Daniel and Timothy were born. Barbara worked as a nurse at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in maternity, which she loved. However, in 1962 she began employment with Dr. Rudolf Hoene, allergist and rheumatologist, who later added partners Bruce Samuels and Thomas Decker, making her the first nurse for the first doctors in the practice that became Wentworth Health Partners. Barbara loved her job there as nurse manager for 22 years, where she helped children (and adults) become comfortable with weekly allergy injections and 'translated' for patients and hospital staff Dr. Hoene's thick German accent and doctor's messy handwriting. She loved to tell stories- (never mentioned names!)- about crazy things that happened there and the tricks she would play on Dr. Hoene on April Fool's Day every year. Deciding to do something completely different, Barbara retired from nursing and with her husband moved to Ossipee NH to own and manage the Pine Cove Motel. Always a lover of people, Barbara kept a diary entitled 'Confessions of an Innkeeper' where she recorded stories of things that happened. She especially loved the silly, touching, and comical. Although never a gossip, Barbara loved telling her stories to everyone. People enjoyed her easy way of laughing at herself, while always giving the best possible representation of her children, when they were mentioned. She loved her children and grandchildren dearly. Barbara attended church regularly and loved to talk about her relationship with God. Barbara is predeceased by her husband Robert and son Randall Scott, and by her siblings Thelma Bragg, Arno Foster, Dorothy Dunham, Mary Bragg, Eleanor O'Halloran, Flora Foster, Lillian Tucker, Ralph Foster, Isabelle Scott, Maxine Sheckler, and Norman Foster. [44082] Find A Grave offers her biography: Sarah A. "Sally" Hoffman was a daughter of John "Laughing John" Hoffman 1777-1830 and Elizabeth Rhyne 17781826. She had an older brother, Jacob Hoffman 1808-1869 who married Sarah Catherine Sides and sister, Elizabeth Hoffman 1809-1879, who married, Peter Rhyne. On June 10, 1838 Sarah became the bride of Daniel Rhyne. From this union, Sally gave birth to the following known children: Evaline Rhyne 1839-1880, she married Lum Self; Nancy Rhyne 1842,she married Boyd Haughton Penney, Martha Rhyne 1843- 1861, she never married; Susan Rhyne 1847-1873, she married Charles Course and Frank Davis; Lucinda A Rhyne 1849-1939, she married William Course; Evelyn Marie Rhyne 1850-1871, she married James Monroe Self; Luella Caroline Rhyne 1850-1929, she married William Jasper "Cam" Sandlin; Ellen Rhyne 1851; Harriet Rhyne 1857, she married Eli Clifton, Ancil Clifton and Alonzo Carr; and George Rhyne 1859. The 1850 census proved that Sarah and Daniel were living in Brazeau, Perry Co., Missouri. Daniel occupation was that he was a Merchant and had $300.00 in Real Estate. The oldest three children were in school,little Susan was a toddler and Lucinda was one year old. In 1860, Sarah and Daniel had moved to rural Perryville, Perry Co., Missouri and had changed his occupation to a Farmer. They appeared to be doing very well. They reported that they had Real Estate valued at $4000.00 and personal assets of $3000.00. There was now 8 children in the home ranging from 20 yeas old to 1. About a year later, on September 9, 1861 was a very sad day for Sally and her children. Death had claimed her dear Daniel. No documents have been found to reveal the cause of his death. Sally selected a burial plot for him in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Crosstown, Perry County, Missouri where he was laid to rest. Apparently the next few week was very busy ones for Sally as Daniel had not left a will, and his property went to probate intestate on September 15, 1861.

She graduated from Danforth High School in 1947. She was an alum of the East Grand Alumni Association, a member of the Danforth Methodist Church, a trustee of the Weston Community Church, worked in municipal government for approximately 17 years, serving as the administrative assistant for the Town of Weston and as the Danforth Town Manager. She is survived by her son, Varney 'Hal' Brackett and his wife, Sharon, of Weston, and her daughter, Ardis Louise and her husband, Cary Brown, of Weston, both of whom she was very proud of; two beloved grandchildren, Amanda Linscott of Hodgdon, and Tracey Treadwell and her husband, Jake, and their daughter, Mackenzie, of Sandy, Utah; a sister, Freda Thornton, of Medway, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, Varney; and two sisters, Avis Worster and Ruth Stinson."

[58805] Eunice's obituary: "Lincoln, Eunice I. (Willett) Smart, 95, left this world peacefully on May 24, 2024, at her son's home. Born on March 16, 1929, to Cecil and Jennie (Shorey) Willett. Eunice was a shining example of love and kindness. She spent her younger years traveling the world to places such as the Bahamas, Bermuda, Spain, Portugal, and Hawaii. For many years she was a snowbird in Florida. She spent her summers at Boyd Lake and Cold Stream, finding joy in fishing, knitting, and sewing, and making countless gifts for her family. Eunice's love for her family was unmatched, and they will miss her dearly. With a heart full of love and a life well-lived, she is survived by her three sons, Alan (Donna) Smart of Lincoln, Gary Smart of Lincoln, and David (Rarja) Smart of Lee, five grandchildren, Amy (Timothy) Villnave, Randolph (Terri) Smart, Franklin Smart, Angus Smart, Michelle Smart, and Jeuvax Ramos, 13 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Her sister Marylou also survives her. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Russell Smart in 2010, a grandson Gregory Smart Sr, a daughter in law Rose Smart, and four siblings George, Willis, Lucille, and Beatrice.'
