[681] Isabella was daughter and heiress of William Aslacton; the family had held for generations the manor from which they derived their name, under the Lords Deincourt. The family probably descends from Walchelin, the mesne tenant of Walter de Aincourt at Aslacton in the Domesday Book. They also held early on under the baronial family of Newmarch lands in Hawksworth and Whatton (part of the Domesday fee of Gilbert de Ghent). They were important local people - Simon de Aslacton was high sheriff of the counties of Nottingham and Derby in 1259 and 1260, and his descendant Reginald de Aslacton served in Parliament as a Knight of these shires in 1344. {ref.: "Genealogical Memoirs of the Extinct Family of Chester of Ehichly," Robert Edmon Chester Waters (London: Robson & Sons, 1878), p. 367ff..}
[59848] Benjamin is son of Benjamin Franklin Brown, Jr. (1899-1975) & Lillian Eugenia Berry (1900-1992; m. in 1922 in Baltimore Co., MD).

Born in Ashland County May 18, 1884, she was a lifelong resident. Mrs. Dilgard, formerly of 528 Cherry St., was a member of Clara Cassel Circle, Upstreamers Sunday School Class and Friendly Garden Club and was a former member of the Business and Professional Women's Club. Surviving are a daughter. Marguerite G. of Ashland; a son Waldo R. of Ashland; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Helen Norris Soden of Florida, Pauline Halterman and Ruth Deever, both of Tennessee, and Elizabeth Dalton of Texas; and a brother, Robert Scott of Elyria, Ohio. . ." Ada is daughter of Robert Harris and Minnie Foss. Ancestry.com offers: "Harris Name Meaning - English and Welsh (very common in southern England and South Wales): patronymic from the medieval English personal name Harry, pet form of Henry. This name is also well established in Ireland, taken there principally during the Plantation of Ulster. In some cases, particularly in families coming from County Mayo, both Harris and Harrison can be Anglicized forms of Gaelic Ó hEarchadha."
