[60629] "The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 9 October 2025: "Nampa, Idaho - Jill Louise Bragdon, 60, of Nampa, Idaho, passed away peacefully at her home on September 28, 2025. Born on May 11, 1965, in Caribou, Maine, Jill was the fifth of six daughters of Lloyd Bragdon and Gloria Dawn Hall Bragdon. She graduated from Caribou High School and went on to earn a Master's degree from Walden University later pursuing her Ph.D. at the time of her passing. In June 1985, Jill married Jerry Williams. Together they lived around the world during Jerry's military service, with assignments in Turkey and Germany, before settling in Nevada. They later divorced in 1999. On February 14, 2004, Jill married Ronald Clayton in Wyoming. The couple made their home in Nampa in 2006, where they built a life together until Ronald's death in 2019. Jill enjoyed a long career as a project manager for L3 Technologies where she worked for 20 years and built lasting friendships with colleagues across the country. More recently, she was serving as a project manager with INN04 overseeing cable installation, hardware, and conduit work for what is currently the largest construction project in the nation - an opportunity she deeply valued. Jill's greatest joy was her dogs. From her high school graduation onward, she always had dogs by her side. At the time of her passing, she was the proud owner of two Bernese Mountain Dogs and the caretaker of three more. Her home was always filled with the energy, warmth, and affection of her beloved pets. Jill is survived by her sisters Jeanne Radak, Jacquie Breedlove, Janice Schenck, and Jennifer Bragdon; her cherished nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews; and her best friend, Raime Campbell, with whom she shared her passion for Bernese Mountain Dogs. She was preceded in death by her husband Ronald, her parents, Lloyd and Gloria, and her sister Julie Bragdon Armstrong. Jill will be remembered for her adventurous spirit, her dedication to her work, and her deep love for animals. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, loyalty, and joy that will live on in the lives of all who knew her.
