Survivors include two sons, Carl of Cuyahoga Falls and Ralph of San Diego, Calif., two daughters. They became interested in antiques, and owned After Effects in Soquel for 12 years. Mr. Heichel also enjoyed traveling, fishing, camping and collecting antique pieces for their business.
