Brit.,`56, 16:271} For family see http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Plains/9004/Neville.html and "Medieval English Ancestors of Certain Americans," Carl Boyer III (Santa Clarita, CA, 2001), p. 178. http://www.thepeerage.com/p981.htm states "He married, secondly, Margery de Thweng, daughter of John de Thweng, before 1331. . . . In 1303 he was chief of the delegation summoned by the King to set forth the grievances of the people against the Bishop of Durham. In 1313 he was found guilty of incest with his daughter, Lady de Faucomberge. He held the office of Keeper of the Peace in 1325."

He contributed to the public cost of an expedition against the Nanticoke Indians in 1678; appointed by the General Assembly of Maryland, in 1683, a Commissioner to purchase sites and lay out towns, etc., and was a prominent, influential citizen of Anne Arundel Co., Md.; at his death he left a will whereby he bequeathed to his wife and children, several thousand acres of land, silver plate, etc. He m. (first) unknown; (second) Susanna - d 1692; (third) Mary Stanton. His wid. married (second) Col. Henry Ridgely; (third) Rev. Jacob Henderson, Rector of Queen Ann's Parish, Prince George Co., Md."
