Born on April 1, 1928 in Turbett Township, Juniata County, she is the daughter of the late W. Book and Lillian (McClure) Ritzman. On April 24, 1948 she married her late husband, David B. Esh with whom she shared nearly 58 years of marriage before he preceded her in death on November 22, 2005. Surviving are: her children, David B. Esh and his wife Trish, of Salisbury, MD, Peggy J. Noss and her husband Tom, Jr., of Honey Grove, Susan E. Henderson and her husband Ralph, a son-in-law, Robert Switzer, a sister, Beverly R. Hood, all of Mifflintown and she leaves behind 8 grandchildren, as well as 4 great-grandchildren. One daughter, Gail E. Switzer preceded her in death. Mrs. Esh was a 1945 graduate of the Tuscarora Valley High School, Port Royal and had attended the McCoysville Presbyterian Church. She also was a member of the Spruce Hill Grange No. 772. She had retired from Empire Kosher Poultry, Inc., Mifflintown. Reba enjoyed canning, tending to her flower and vegetable gardens; however her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren."
