[53882] Find A Grave memorial 151440066 offers: "Daughter of Michael & Ann Burns, both immigrant from Ireland, she was the oldest child of six (siblings: Edward, Susannah, Arthur, Catharine & John). She married Ariel Ward Huckins, the son of Joanna Bridges & David Huckins, in Maine where she had son Arthur B. Huckins in 1861. The fate of her husband Ariel is unknown. The couple do not appear together in any census records. By 1880 Mary was living in Forest City & had married the widower (?) Thomas Risdon of England (no record of their marriage). Thomas had previously been married to Margaret Rose Kennedy & fathered a son, Thomas Jr, who immigrated to the US with him. Mary & Thomas had no children together. (Note: the monument does not have Thomas' name on it even though he preceded Mary in death). Mary's son, Arthur Huckins, is buried beside her. The unverified file LH7Y-PY8 in familysearch.org offers: "When Mary Burns was born in 1833, in Maine, United States, her father, Michael Burns, was 48 and her mother, Mary Ann McDonald, was 24.
