In January, 2003 there is an Internet site showing her ancestry, etc., which gives alternate birth and death dates - http://www.aros.net/~bbyard/paf
--------------------
As received by email in January, 2001:
Mary Ann Byard, b. 12/7 1823 in Sedgwick d. 12/9 1911 recorded in the Rural Cemetary listings at Sedgwick.

Rodolph b. 2/18 1852 Captain of a sailing vessel, m. 1st Eva Cole, daughter of Rufus and Margaret Cole. They had one son, R. Harvey Sargent. Second marriage was to Abby Grindal, daughter of William Grindal and _____(Perkins) Grindle. Rodolph and Abby had three children: Harold Rodolph, E___ Amelia, and Malcolm Cleaves.
Lydia Byard Sargent b. 7, 1854 d. 9/21 1947 m. William Dicks Gower on 9/9/1878. William was born in Sargentville, 11/23 1853, d. 3 1906, son of Parson Harrison Bartlett Gower and Susan (Dicks) of Providence, R.I. Lydia and William had six children: Grace Prescott, Frederick Allen, William Harrison, Gertrude, Helen Bartlett, Ronald Lee.
I've been researching the Byard's from Sedgwick since Sept. and last month I was mailed a copy of 40 pages of typed microfiched (on March 1, 1983) material from the LDS Church entitled: Genealogy of The Byard and Sargents Families of Maine (G.S. CALL #6018390). One page is 'A Book of the Records of the Town of Sedgwick, Commonwealth of Massachusetts, 1789.' Vol. I Page 399. This lists the births of Robert Byard's children and then goes on to talk about their marriages. The majority of the pages are the genealogy of the Sargent family in the Sedgwick/Sargentville area.
Mary Ann Byard's parents:
James Byard, b. 3/25-28 1786, Sedgwick d. 12/25 1876, Sedgwick
Lydia Marks Roberts, daughter of Samuel and Dolly (Moore) Roberts from Somersworth, New Hampshire.
James Byard was the youngest son of:
Capt. Robert Byard, b. 1729 England d. 3/2 1811 Sedgwick
Abigail (Glover) Byard, b. 11/16 1745 Salem, MA (Gen. John Glover, Marblehead, was her first cousin), d. 12/2 1807 Sedgwick.
Capt. Byard was one of the first settlers in the Sedgwick area and in 1763 established his homestead at Byard's Point on the shores of Eggomoggin Reach. Robert and Abigail are buried at Settler's Rest Cemetary, Sargentville, ME
Mary Ann's sister, Abigail Roberts Byard, also married a Sargent:
Abigail Roberts b. 3/4 1827 Sedgwick, d. 3/7 1920 Sargentville m. (on 3/6 1848) Jasper Newton Sargent, b. 1/6 1828 Brooklin d. 3/8 1918 or 1820, Sargentville. Jasper was the brother of Lucius Bolles Sargent. Jasper was the Master of the schooner, Magellan Cloud of Sedgwick. Jasper and Abigail had four sons: Llewellyn Jasper, Benjamin Choate, Charles Newton and Frederick James
Llewellyn b. 4/23 1852, Sargentville, m. Hattie E. Foran; one child: Effie
Benjamin b. 3/1 1856, Sargentville, m. Flora Crockett, b. 1862 d. 1925, Brooksville, daughter of Charles Crockett and Abbie Bateman; they had three children: Walter, Mildred and Sherman
Charles b. 2/10 1865, Sargentville, moved to Montana, m. Maude_____; one child: Frederick James, b. 9/27 1867, Sargentville, m. Nellie Clapp, b. 6/23 1877, daughter of Capt. Grenville Payson Clapp and Clara Thurston; had three children: Catherine Clapp, Helen Joy and Abigail Louise
Also, on page 22 of the Byard and Sargent Families of Maine, it says: Wyer Grove Sargent, b. 7/24 1810, d. 7/16 1900 m. 1st on 10/22 1834, Martha Eaton, b. 12/4 1812, d. 8/20 1860, daughter of Joseph and Martha (Patty Morgan) Eaton, son of Jonathan and Diana (Dow) Eaton. Their children:

[32982] Josiah's information and ancestry are from the unverified McCluskey Family Tree in Ancestry.com in 2012. He perhaps moved to Grimsby as a Loyalist during the War for Independence - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grimsby,_Ontario..
[21285] Eva's ancestry and genealogy are in web site (2003): http://edoubleu7.tripod.com/cgi-bin/genealogy/zagmeister.html which reports her father is Johann Adam Zangmeister (b. 1699). http://www.macungie.org/singmaster.html offers in 2009: "The immigrant ancestors of the Singmaster families in North America were Johann Adam Zangmeister, and his son, Georg Friederich Zangmeister (1725-1811), who emigrated from the German Palatinate, and arrived in Philadelphia on September 19, 1749 on the ship Patience. They settled near Trumbauersville in Bucks County. Georg Friederichs son, John Adam Singmaster (1766-1820), moved to Millerstown; and in 1794, married Lydia van Buskirk (1779-1865), the daughter of the Rev. Jacob van Buskirk (1739-1800), reputedly the first ordained Lutheran minister born and trained in America. Jacob van Buskirk purchased a tract of land from Peter Miller on November 19, 1784; and around 1785, established a tannery in Millerstown while serving as pastor of Lehigh Church (1770-1800). John Adam bought the tannery, and his father-in-laws farm of about 105 acres, around 1810. John Adam Singmaster is buried at Zion Lehigh Lutheran Church near Alburtis; but Lydia Singmaster, who lived until 1865, is buried in Solomons Union Church Cemetery in Macungie. Her grave is surrounded by an iron fence near the Cherry Street cemetery entrance behind the church." A 2001 post on http://boards.ancestry.com/localities.ceeurope.germany.rheinland.rheinlandpfalz states Johann Adam Zangmeister is son of "Friedrich Erhart Zangmeister, b: 1662 in Kandel, Pfalz, Bayern, Germany [src: Genealogie der Familie Zangemeister], d: 9 Dec 1738 in Kandel, Germany [src: Genealogie der Familie Zangemeister], m. Anna Margaretha Kappel. b: 1673 in Kandel, Pfalz, Bayern, Bavaria [src: Genealogie der Familie Zangemeister], m: 2 Feb 1693 in Kandel, Germany [src: Genealogie der Familie Zangemeister] d: 29 Oct 1730 in Kandel, Germany [src: Genealogie der Familie Zangemeister]." This web site also states Friedrich Erhart Zangmeister is son of "Konrad Christof Zangmeister, b: about 1620 in Sulzburg, Germany, d: 1693, m. Maria Goelzhorn, b: 1627 in Herford i. W. [src: Genealogie der Familie Zangemeister], m: about 1648. d: 1 Jan 1686 in Kandel, Germany [src: Genealogie der Familie Zangemeister]" (This information is not verified.)
