Morgrage, 87, a resident of St. Luke Apartments, Oswego, passed away, Wednesday, February 11th, 2009 at the Oswego Hospital. Born in Pembroke, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Calvin H. and Minnie B. (Leighton) Morgan. Inez graduated from Brewer High School in 1938 and graduated from Husson College in Bangor, Maine in 1940. She was a member of Phi Rho Zeta Sorority. Mrs. Morgrage was a resident of Brunswick, Maine before moving to Oswego in 1971. She was employed as a Teletype Operator with Alcan for 7 ½ years before retiring in 1985 and was the church secretary for First United Methodist Church for 3 years and a member of its choir. Inez was active with the Girl Scouts, P.T.A and the RSVP. She received the Community Service Award for Pet Therapy Program in 1990. Surviving are her daughters Pamela J. Meyer of Gurnee, Illinois and Shari L. Scovill of Yba City, California. Two grandaughters, Tascha Scovill and Quiana Scovill."

Ritzman, aged and respected resident of Gratz, died at her home in that community at 11.20 o'clock, Monday morning, November 21st. Her demise followed a prolonged illness and paralytic stroke. Deceased was a daughter of the late Michael and Susannah Wolfe and was born in Lykens Township December 12, 1855. She was confirmed a member of Simeon's Lutheran congregation at Gratz, April 15, 1871 by the Rev. Thomas Steck, and was wed to Franklin M. Ritzman January 27, 1873 by the same pastor. Mr. Ritzman died several years ago. With the exception of one year when she was a resident of Snyler County, Mrs. Ritzman had lived in the Gratz community her entire life. She was a member of Simeon's Lutheran congregation, a life member of the Women's Missionary Society and the Ladies' Aide Society of that church. Survivors are three daughters and two sons: Mrs. Lizzie Shade, Jennie, Mrs. George Hoffman, Grace Mrs. R. E. Blyler and Joseph Ritzman, all of Gratz and George H. Ritzman, Philadelphia. Other survivors are three sisters, Mrs. H. C. Fidler, Gratz; Mrs. Louisa Wolfgang, Temple, Pa., Mrs. Newton Schminky, Portland Oregon ; seventeen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren."
