[31023] See http://www.geneajourney.com/aubigny1.htm. Also see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_d'Aubigny_(Brito) which offers offers: "William d'Aubigny (after 1148), was an itinerant justice under King Henry I of England. He was commonly known by the appellation Brito. William was a son of Main d'Aubigny, Breton lord of Saint-Aubin-d'Aubigné (now in Ille-et-Vilaine department) and Adelaide de Bohun. He fought at the Battle of Tinchebray (1106) and was high in Henry I's favor. He was allowed to marry Cecily, the elder daughter of Roger Bigod, sheriff of Norfolk. Through her, he acquired a part of the honour of Belvoir in Leicestershire - his castle became the centre of the family estates - after his mother-in-law, who had been the heir of Robert de Tosny, lord of Belvoir, died about 1130. The couple had four or five sons and two daughters. His heir was William, who married Maud Fitz Robert, daughter of Robert Fitz Richard. The Magna Carta surety, William d'Aubigny, was their son."

[55451] Find A Grave memorial 185292226 offers David's obituary: "Hancock - David Wayne Griffin, 70, resident of Hancock, died Saturday, November 11, 2017, at Eastern Maine Medical Center following an illness, with his loving family at his side. David was born in Ellsworth on July 12, 1947. He grew up on Egypt Stream in Franklin. He attended the Franklin public schools and in 1966 he enrolled in The United States Army and spent 1968 in Vietnam. After returning home, David worked construction around the area for many years. He began driving trucks and continued doing that until recently. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being a part of the great Maine outdoors. David especially enjoyed camping, traveling and spending time with his family and friends in his R.V. His favorite thing to do was spend time with his family and friends no matter where they were. He enjoyed talking with his family and learning about what all his youngsters were up to. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and the National Rifle Association. David was baptized as a Morman. Survivors include three brothers, Scott Charles Griffin and his wife, Linda, Franklin; Pete Bruce Griffin and his companion, Sue, Franklin; Charles Scott Griffin and his companion, Sunshine, Cherryfield; three sisters Barbara Ann Tibbetts, Columbia; Lorna Elaine Thomas and her husband, Gordon, Hancock; Kimberly Sue Baldwin and her husband, Gary, Franklin. Many nieces and nephews also survive. David was predeceased by his parents, Charles Scott and Jeanette Evelyn Martin Griffin, and his youngest brother, Kelley R. Griffin."
