She had been bedfast three months previous to her demise. Born at Rebuck, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Troutman. For the past twenty years she has been a resident of Valley View. Her husband, Francis Williard, is a retired farmer and miner. She was a member of the Evangelical and Reformed church at Rebuck. Surviving are her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Effie Daniels, at home; a son, Irvin Williard, of Hershey; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. Services will be held from the late residence Tuesday morning at 9:30 o'clock and continued in Himmel's church at Rebuck. . . "
The unverified Smith Family Tree in Ancestry.com in 2018 offers: When Sarah Troutman was born in August 1877, her father, James, was 33, and her mother, Helena, was 37. She married Francis Levi Williard in 1897. They had five children during their marriage. She died in 1943 in Northumberland, Pennsylvania, at the age of 66, and was buried in Rebuck, Pennsylvania. Ancestry.com states Troutman is a version of Trautmann and offers: "Trautmann Name Meaning - German: from a medieval personal name, formed with Middle High German trut 'beloved' + man 'man', or from an older stem, Germanic thrud 'strength' (Old Norse thrudr 'divine being'), from which several personal names were formed."
