[22316] Edmond Helbert is subject of a biography in "History of Ashland County, Ohio," by A. J. Baughman (Chicago: S. J. Clarke Pub. Co., 1909), pp. 546-47, which reports that he m. in March 1865 Katharine Sumner (b. in Lake Twp., Ashland Co., OH 23 July 1843 to Clement Sumner and Elizabeth Underwood, natives of Vermont and Pennsylvania respectively; named Catherine on her grave marker; d. 1914). Edmond continued working on his father's farm for eleven years after his marriage, and then purchased a farm of 80 acres (in 1909 he had 134 acres) about two miles north of Mohicanville in section 30 of Mohican Twp. He and Katharine had four children - one survived to adulthood, Adam Augustus Helbert. Adam A. Helbert m. (1) Dema Seigler (and had Guy Eugene Helbert) - Dema died and Adam m. (2) Lilly Hossinger (and had Ruth Pauline and Mildred Irene). Edmond and Katharine were members of the Reformed Church in Mohicanville.

[56590] Ardis' obituary: "Ardis Burns September 25, 1922 - December 26, 2007BANGOR - Ardis Norene Burns, 85, died Dec. 26, 2007, after a lengthy illness, at a local hospital. She was born Sept. 25, 1922, in Danforth, the daughter of Clyde and Lydia (Getchell) Noyes. Ardis graduated from Danforth High School and Beals Business School, and was a practicing licensed practical nurse for many years. She loved her family and was a devoted Christian. Ardis is survived by one son, Delano "Del" Burns and his wife, Linda, of Hudson; two daughters, Beverly and her husband, Clifford Rand, of Silver Spring, Md., and Bonnie and her husband, Alvan Sweigard, of Meriden, Conn.; three brothers, Clyde Noyes Jr. of Dennysville, Lloyd Noyes of Topsfield and Colby Noyes of Danforth; three sisters, Ione Robertson of Weston, Charlene Faulkner of Danforth and Lydia Preston of Danforth; 12 grandchildren, Scott, Noreen, Elizabeth, John, James, Joseph, Jeffrey, Nikki, Ann, Arlen, Timothy and Daniel; 22 great-grandchildren; and a dear friend, Harold Hickson of Fairfax, Va. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her former husband, John E. Burns; one son, John E. Burns Jr.; one grandson, Erroll B. Burns; three brothers, Archie, Harland and Amos; and three sisters, Wanda, Clara and Leta."
