Born September 28, 1929, in Mansfield, she was the daughter of Merle and Pearl Briner Perkeybile. A 1947 graduate of Mansfield Senior High, Mrs. Lucas was a registered nurse. She was a member of Easter Star, Mansfield Chapter #17 and enjoyed traveling with her friend Ursula, puzzles and playing cards. Surviving are a brother, Charles Perkeybile of Mansfield; a niece, Nancy Kulka of Mansfield; three nephews, Robert Perkeybile of Fort Recovery, Ray Perkeybile and Richard Perkeybile both of Mansfield; numerous great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Jeanne Charters; and special friend Ursula Unterwagner of Mansfield. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Floyd S. Lucas; a brother, Jack Charters; and a niece, Stephanie Charters."
