Descendants of Samuel are also presented (not verified) by Robert K. Nelson in his Family Tree Maker on-line database at
http://www.familytreemaker.com/users/n/e/l/Robert-K-Nelson/ODT2-0014.html Samuel requested permisison to emigrate from Zweibrucken, Switzerland 29 April 1737 (per Hugo Schroeder - see under brother, Peter Brillhart). "Brillharts in America," page 132: "Samuel, son of John Brillhart, of Holland , was one of the three brothers who came to America with the immigrants already referred to earlier in the history. Samuel was born in Holland in 1724 and was united in marriage to Esther Smidt in 1743. To them was born six children: Esther; Joseph; Samuel; David; Jacob and Abraham." - page 22: " Samuel Brillhart, who helped build the Mennonite Church, located a few miles from the present town of Hanover in 1746, was a member and minister of that denomination and helped to care for his people and traveled many miles to preach to little flocks of the like faith, scattered in the colonies of Lancaster and Chester counties." <
The unverified file in 2021 at https://www.myheritage.com/names/samuel_brillhart offers: "Samuel Brillhart was born in 1724, at birth place , Pennsylvania, to Peter Brillhart and Odille Wehrli / Werlie / Christmann (born Wehrli). Peter was born on November 16 1703, in Evangelische Kirche, Guggisberg, Bern, Switzerland. Odille was born on April 1 1691, in Belmont, Bas-Rhin, Alsace, France. Samuel had 5 siblings: Johann Peter Brillhart , Louisa Ganier and 3 other siblings . Samuel married Esther Diren Brillhart (born Schmidt) in 1745, at age 21 at marriage place , Pennsylvania. Esther was born in 1725, in Reusel, Noord-Brabant, Netherlands. They had 7 children: Esther Brillhart , Jacob Brillhart and 5 other children ."
