[44141] Margaret's death certificate reports: "Father: John Bousom, born Elliottsburg, PA; mother: Eliza Flickinger, born Ickesburg, PA" "The Perry County Democrat [Bloomfield, PA], 17 October 1928," p. 3: "Margaret Jane Loy passed away at her home in Ickesburg, Saturday night, the 13th, about 1.20 o'clock, just as the Sabbath day was coming in. The immediate cause of her death was chronlic asthma. She became ill Mondav night, previous and was a constant sufferer until death came to her relief. Mrs. Loy was the daughter of John and Eliza (Flickinger) Bousum. She was born at Ickesburg. Sept. 22, 1852. On the date of her death she was aged 76 years and 21 days. She was married to Andrew J. Loy, May 10, 1883, at Loysville, by the Rev. F. Aurand. Mr. and Mrs. Loy lived most of their married life in this community. Besides her husband she is survived by one brother, David Bousum, of Harrisburg and a foster sister, Mrs. Mary Hench, of Marysville. One brother, Daniel Bousum, died a number of years ago. She joined the Lutheran church at the 'Old Buffalo Church' at Saville, in youth and has remained a faithful and consistent member. She was a woman of many excellent qualities, a true wife and an excellent neighbor. Her death will be regretted by her many friends, who extend their sympathy to the sorrowing husband and family."
