[59214] "The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 2 Decembe 2020: "Gouldsboro, Maine - The unthinkable happened on Wednesday, November 25th, 2020, when we lost our beloved Ami in an automobile accident. She was returning home from picking up last minute groceries for Thanksgiving and left us doing what she did best - tending to her family. Ami shared 23 years of committed togetherness with Todd Knowles. They were soulmates and truly the love of one another's lives. Side by side, they raised their blended family. Jeremy was Ami's 'baby' whom she loved and nurtured every day of his life. She also lovingly embraced Kayla and Scott as her own, welcoming them with a wide-open heart and loving arms. Before becoming the core of their family unit, Ami grew up in Orrington, graduated from Brewer High and Maine State Academy of Hair Design. She met Todd while working at Key Bank but soon gave that up to be present with he and the kids. Todd looked forward every day to getting home from haul so he could squeeze on her. She was a wonderful homemaker, cook, best friend, Mom and Mimi. Gardening, crafting, baseball, Harley or Camero rides and beach combing, along with sand and sun were a few of her favorite things. She was a devoted pet mom too, taking good care of 'Ami's zoo'. Their dog, Miley, was at her side in the accident. Ami was 51 years young and born at EMMC, the youngest of five children. She leaves behind her fiancé', Todd Knowles; children, Jeremy Holmes Norton, Kayla (Knowles) and Dylan Johnson, Scott and Bridget Knowles; and her precious granddaughters, Kaylan and Dylanie Johnson; parents, James and Lois Curtis; siblings, Cindy and Dave, Jody and Laurie, Anita and Jerry, and Robbie; nieces and nephews, Kristen, Courtney, Nicholas, Olivia and Kaylee. She will also be lovingly remembered by all of Todd's family, along with many other friends and family members too numerous to mention. Rest peacefully in the arms of Jesus, sweet Ami Lee. You'll always be on our minds and forever in our hearts."
