He was born October 18,1856 at St Stephen New Brunswick, [Canada] the son of Nehemiah and Mary C (Craig) Hanson. Mr. Hanson who retired from service with the Maine Central Railroad 40 years ago had made his home with Mrs. Alexander for the past 15 years. Surviving are four daughters: Mrs. Alexander, Mrs. Edna Earle of Weeks Mill, Mrs. [Bessie] Byron Cameron of Fairview, New Brunswick, Canada, and Mrs. Hattie Grimmer of St Johnsbury, VT, a son Carl Hanson of Vanceboro, several nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren.
