[41258] Find A Grave Memorial 137342110 offers: "Robert Lawter was probably born in Suffolk, England about 1550. He married Mary Fiske soon after she proved her fathers will in South Elmham, Suffolk, in 1579. Robert and Mary had four children and probably lived in Suffolk County, England. Sometime around 1600 to 1610, Robert was killed by his son, Joseph, who was executed at Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, England. Evidence points to the location of the home of Robert and Mary as South Elmham. If so, he was buried in the churchyard of St. James Church in that town.'

[37609] The 1905 WI State Census lists Lorenzo and his family including son Eugene in Hancock town, Waushara Co. The 1880 federal census lists him in the same town with wife Emily J. (b. in NY), son Eugene P. with his wife Prudence C. (both b. in WI). He is apparently the Lorenzo Rawson listed as head of the family in the 1855 New York State census in "E.D. 1, Denmark, Lewis, New York" with his mother, Eve, and his siblings. [Denmark is on the northwest border of Lewis County and is east of Watertown.] Further information is from "Pedigree Resource File," database, FamilySearch (http://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.2.1/SP91-KCH) and is not verified.

[28731] "New England Families," William Richard Cutter (Clearfield Co.), Vol. 4, p. 2031 reports that she is daughter of Anthony White, b. 1607 in England, and an original proprietor and resident of Sudbury, MA in 1640, who sailed from Ipswich, England in April 1634 and m. at Watertown, MA 8 Sept 1645 Grace Hall.
