[49367] Find A Grave memorial 39542868 offers: "Joseph Chadbourne, at the age of nineteen, while a student in the seminary at Kent's Hill, became a Christian. Ten years afterwards he became a member of the church in Bradford. He was for a time the efficient deacon of the church. In 1858 he took a letter and joined the Christian denomination, by which he was ordained March, 1859. He was highly esteemed among them. Four years before his death, he again became a member of the church in Bradford. He was much interested in education and a successful teacher. He was frequently elected to offices of trust and responsibility."

Falck, 72, of Main Street, Herndon, who died Sunday, 11 p.m. at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, will be held Thursday afternoon from the Lawrence E. Rothermel Funeral Home, RD Klingerstown. Interment will be in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington. The Rev. Paul Billow of Rebuck and the Rev. Glenn Keidel Jr. of RD Dornsife, will officiate. He had been hospitalized one week. Mr. Falck was born at Leck Kill Feb. 23, 1907. His parents were the late Edward and Agnes Brown Falck. He was a retired carpenter and a dealer of aluminum products. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Herndon and the Herndon Fire Company. He served on Herndon Borough Council at one time. He was married to the former Olive Snyder at Leck Kill March 12, 1927. Surviving, in addition to his widow, are four daughters, Mae, wife of Carl Kerstetter, and Helen, wife of Paul Strohecker, both of Millersburg; Jean, wife of Ernest Erdman, RD Dornsife; Lorraine, wife of George Shaffer, Sunbury; two brothers, Leon of RD2 Selinsgrove and Ralph of Palmyra; nine grandchildren; one great-granddaughter."

(1) 12 June 1701 before the Rev. Samuel Moody of York to Elizabeth Goodwin (dau. of William Goodwin and Deliverance Taylor - William is son of David Goodwin, born in Plymouth, England). Gray and Snow list his eight children, among whom Joshua is seventh. The unverifed file L4SP-62Z in familysearch.org provides the dates and places and descent.
