[17848] http://www.wenrich.net/history/other/Pwen.html states: "Very little is known of Valentine Wenrich. It is believed he was born early in the 1780's, the brother following him being born 1784. Valentine's son Benjamin born 1816 never saw his parents after he was six years of age, and believed his father died and it may be so as Valentine was not named in his father's will. In later years a lady by name of Shade, a cousin from Ohio came to visit the Wenrrich family in Indiana. Mrs Shade told Benjamin his parents had separated and his mother had later married a man by name of Erinfield, Aaronfield, Irenfield or ?? spelling uncertain. By this marriage she had two sons namely Peter and David. There is a note taken from the Wenrich family Bulletin 1922 which states Valentine Wenrich served in the United States Army Sept. 1, 1841 to Dec. 14, 1814. Congressional Library, Washington, D.C. page 246."
