She married James Malcolm (Rev.) Smith on January 12, 1864. They had six children in 13 years. She died on August 29, 1906, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, at the age of 66, and was buried in Rockford, Michigan.

He was the son of David W. Kenniston and Annie L. Phillips Kenniston. He was a lifelong resident of Amherst, Maine. He went to Ellsworth High School. He worked for the state of Maine DOT for a short time. He worked in the lumber yard at Leon Williams Saw Mill in Clifton. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and was an avid trapper. He spent a lot of time working in his garden and chopping wood for his wood stove. He loved feeding and watching the birds. He had a great sense of humor, and was an avid joke teller. He was a kind gentle man, who loved his cat, Ellie; she was his constant companion. David is survived by three nephews, Tom Little of Westbrook, Daniel Brown and his wife, Christina, of the Philippines, and Donald Brown and his wife, Nancy, of Pittsfield; one niece, Susan Little of Waterville; one great-nephew, David Brown of Windsor; one great-niece, Heather Brake of Windham; three great-great-nephews, and close friends, Neil and Brenda Butler Phil Deckers, and John Dowling, along with many other friends. He considered his closest neighbor, Cheryl and Lou Tonero, their daughters, Gina and Megan, and granddaughter, Shey, as his family. They spent many happy hours together Holidays he considered special time with them. He was predeceased by his parents; his uncle, Charles Phillips; his half sisters, George Fecteau and Daveeda Brown; and two nephews, Ervin Brown and Clifford Brown."

Ritzman's birth date as 4 July 1871. "The Elizabethville Echo [Elizabethville, PA], 5 March 1925," p. 4: "Mrs. Sarah E. Strayer, who returned from the Harrisburg Hospital about a month ago, died at her home near Gratz, on Wednesday, February 25 at the age of 53 yrs. 21 days. She had suffered with cancer for the past six months or more. Her parents were the late Charles and Margaret Hoover, nee Evitts; she was born in Lykens township, June 4, 1871, baptized September 1871 by Rev. William Landes, confirmed October 10, 1891 by Rev. John J. Stauffer, united in marriage to Harry Strayer by the same pastor, September 4, 1892. Four children survive: Allen and Nevin, and Mrs. Howard Phillips of Gratz; Mrs. John Hoover, Lykens Township; six grandchildren, five sisters and four brothers."

Butch was born in Greenville, ME, the son of the late Lawrence E. Tupper Sr. and Jeanette 'Bernard' Tupper. He graduated from Greenville High School in 1964 and Central Maine Vocational Technical Institute in Lewiston, Maine in 1966. Butch was a proud tribal member of the Penobscot Nation. He spent the majority of his life working in the Maine woods operations heavy equipment. He also worked on the Katadin steamship right up to the last log drive on Moosehead Lake. Butch enjoyed sailing, watching old westerns, and surfing the web. He was a beloved father and grandfather. Butch leaves behind his life partner, Marcia Hansen and her children, Felicia and Chris and his wife, Kelsey; his daughters, Sue Procter and her husband, Bob, of West Chester, PA, Shelly Weiss of Portland, ME, Michelle Mushero and her husband, Tommy, of Lincoln, ME; his son, Joseph Tupper and his wife, Jessica, of Gardner, ME; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; his sisters, Marie McCormick of Thorndike, ME, and Loraine and her husband, Bob Turner, of Venice, FL; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his great-granddaughter, Kennedy Lynn Mushero."
