She was a member of the RLDS Church in Deer Isle. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Barbara Eaton of Deer Isle; six grandchildren, Michael Eaton of Scarborough, Norman Eaton of Virginia Beach, Va., Rosemary Haskell of Blue Hill, Paula Martin of Sunrise, Fla., Virgil Eaton of Gorham and Luanne Beeman of Cedar Crest, New Mexico; 13 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Victor Snowman, in 1960, her son, Llewellyn Eaton in 1985, and a granddaughter, Lynnette Eaton in 1994. She will also be remembered by her special friends at the Stonington Manor. At Helen's request there will be no visiting hours or funeral service. Graveside services and burial will be at Forest Hill Cemetery, Little Deer Isle."
