[16475] "The Herald-Press [Saint Joseph, Michigan], 2 Mar 1937," p. 5: "Funeral services were held yesterday in Niles at the Turner and Pifer funeral home for William Dustman, 78 year old Three Oaks man who died Saturday at the Pawating hospital after being a patient there one week. Durlin Wheeler, a Christian Science reader, officiated and burial was in the Niles cemetery. Mr. Dustman was taken to the Niles hospital after an ailment in one of his legs became serious and it was found necessary to amputate. Hospital officials report Mr. Dustman was recovering rapidly and the sudden change came Saturday soon alter he had eaten his dinner. Mr. Dustman came to Three Oaks about 20 years ago and had been a well known carpenter. The past few years he had operated a furniture repair shop on the north side of town. His wife died several years ago and those who survive are two daughters. Mrs. C. F. Snyder, former local woman now of Niles; Mrs. Frank Chamberlain, Chicago, and one sister, Mrs. Catherine Ghainer, Kalamazoo and one granddaughter, Mrs. G. Teske, of Niles."

Seigneur de Montjoie [Monschau]. He undertook campaigns against Namur in 1214 and 1223 in an attempt to recover the county in the name of his second wife. He succeeded his father in 1221 as Waleran IV Duke of Limburg. He joined the crusade preached by Pope Honorius III in 1224, dying on the return journey in Cremona. The Chronicle of Alberic de Trois-Fontaines records the death in 1226 of 'Walerannus de Ardenna dux' and his burial with his father 'in ecclesia de Rode ordinis sancti Augustini'.

Under the treaty, signed 26 Jul 1199, Baudouin IX Count of Flanders and Hainaut inherited Namur, while Ermesinde retained Luxembourg, Durbuy, Laroche and that part of Namur which lay on the right bank of the river Meuse. The Chronicle of Alberic de Trois-Fontaines names 'seniori Walerano filio Henrici' as second husband of 'Ermensende filia Henrici ceci comitis Namucensis'. She received Arlon as her jointure on her second marriage."

Richard owned Wardwell Construction Co. http://www.genealogy.com/ftm/u/n/g/Neil-Ungerleider-MA/GENE4-0120.html lists four childen with his first wife and offers: "He married (1) Jeanette Marie Ashbury 25 September 1953 in Blue Hill, Hancock, ME. He married (2) Annie M. Hamm 22 October 1977. She was born 13 April 1929 in Monroe, Waldo, ME4016, and died 25 June 2000 in Stockton Springs, Waldo, ME." Annie's obituary from the Bangor Daily News: "Stockton Springs - Annie M. (Hamm) Matthews Wardwell, 71, died after a courageous battle with a terminal illness, June 25, 2000. She was born in Monroe, April 13, 1929, the daughter of Cyrus and Daisy (Arbuckle) Hamm. Annie was a homemaker and a CNA. She loved giving and caring for others. She enjoyed cruises and playing cards. Annie will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched with her ready smile and happy personality. She was predeceased by her first husband, Alvah F. Matthews of Deer Isle and second husband, Richard B. Wardwell of Orland; two sisters, and two brothers, Cecile, Muriel, Carl and Rudolph. She is survived by a son, Daniel Matthews of Belfast; a daughter, 'Trudy' Wilcox of Stockton Springs; her sisters and brothers, Kathleen, Christine, Ethel, Jean, Dorothy, Carlene, Raymond, William and Walter; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews."

He was born at Orland June 21, 1936, the son of Robert and Una (Hutchins) Wardwell. Mr. Wardwell was a prominent businessman and owner/president of Robert Wardwell and Sons, Inc., since 1966. He was a member of the Orland United Methodist Church. He is survived by his mother. Una Wardwell of Orland; his loving and devoted wife, Anne (Hamm) Wardwell of Orland; his four children and three daughters-in-law, John and Karen Wardwell, Robert and Robin Wardwell, Brian and Karen Wardwell, and Roxanne W. Beck, all of Orland; two stepchildren, Dan Matthews and his wife, Marie of Bucksport, and Trudy Wilcox and her husband, Lenny of Stockton Springs; nine grandchildren and three stepgrandchildren, who were the joy of his life, Julie, Jana, John, Jason Ricky, Stormy and Misty Wardwell, Jamie and John Beck, all of Orland Danielle Matthews of Bucksport, and Billy and Tracy Wilcox of Stockton Springs; three sisters, Mrs. Guida Martin of Acton, Mass., Gail Wight and Elizabeth Wight, both of Bucksport; two brothers, Raymond Wardwell and Duane Wardwell, both of Orland; two cousins, Philip Hutchins and Betty Billings, both of Bucksport; several nieces and nephews. He leaves behind many dedicated employees who had great respect for Dick. He was predeceased by his father, H. Robert; and his brother, Robert Wardwell,"
