Mrs. Noyes was the widow of the late Lynwood E. Noyes. The daughter of William Hamilton and Jennie (Paul) Finnemore, she was born Feb. 5, 1900 in Caswell. She attended schools in Limestone and was a member of the Gray Memorial United Methodist Church of Caribou.
Mrs. Noyes was a former member of the Limestone Grange and the Caribou Garden Club. She was a member of the Jenny Lyon Circle of the Gray Memorial United Methodist Church. She is survived by two sons, Clayton P. Noyes of Caribou and Preston A. Noyes of Milford, Conn.; one daughter, Mrs. Willis (Marjorie) Sewell of Caribou; two brothers, Lewis and Waldo Finnemore of Caribou; three sisters, Mrs. Otto (Fannie) Palmer of Fort Fairfield, Mrs. Clifford (Thelma) Hjulstrom of New Sweden and Mrs. Frank (Hazel) Paul of Lebanon, N.H. and seven grandchildren.. . . . Interment will be in the Episcopal Cemetery in Limestone later in the spring."

He was born April 13, 1909, in Winter Harbor, the son of Alvah H. and Sarah (Harrington) Mayo. A U.S. Army veteran, Mr. Mayo had 34 years of government service with the U.S. Post Office and the U.S. Border Patrol. After he retired in 1965, he spent many years in Milo, and as a member of the Three Rivers Fish and Game Club, promoted fishing and hunting. Mr. Mayo had also been a member of the Atlantic Salmon Committee, and the Poulliot-Seavey American Legion Post 53 of Dexter. He is survived by a sister, Edna Larouche and her husband, M. Edward of East Hampton, Mass.; many nieces and nephews, and a close friend, Nancy Webber of Dexter."
