[23578] Information was given by Earnest C. Haws: Mother died in childbirth, child premature. He lived and was taken in by Berry and Caoline Boydstun. He was incubated in cotton batting on the open oven door of the kitchen stove, and oiled down with mineral oil. He was sustained on mare's milk. Burley was raised by his grandparents. Burley Eugene Boydstun was born prematurely and was given over to the care of his grandparents, James Berry and Caroline (Rea) Bodystun. He was kept rubbed with mineral oil in a box of cotton batting near the big kitchen stove. He was nurtured with mare's milk and grew to be a strong man. He remained on the home place until his grandfather died in 1897, whereupon he and his grandmother moved to the Panhandle of Texas in 1899.

Born on July 13, 1962, in Castine, Maine, Frank grew up in Bucksport, Maine, where he graduated from Bucksport High School in 1980. With a passion for food and people, Frank dedicated his career to working as a chef in the restaurant industry. In his free time, he enjoyed golfing, fishing, grilling, playing Frisbee, listening to classic rock, and spending a day on the lake. Frank is survived by his partner, Elaine White of Bangor; his sons, Coty Wardwell of Washington, D.C., and Casey Wardwell of Holden, along with his daughter-in-law, Amanda Wardwell; his grandson, Oliver Byron Wardwell; his sister-in-law, Patti Rump; his sister-in-law, Paulette Wardwell; and his brother-in-law, Jerome Andrews. He is also remembered by his many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Frank was predeceased by his parents, Ruth (Colby) Wardwell and William 'Bill' Wardwell; as well as his siblings, Joyce (Wardwell) Andrews, James Wardwell, Timothy Wardwell, and Ellen (Wardwell) McElvain and brother-in-law, William 'Bill' McElvain, and Dana Wardwell."

Michigan ave., died yesterday morning in a local hospital from complications developing from a hip fracture suffered in a fall at her home on May 25. Mrs. Tingle was born Feb. 28, 1870, in Arcadia, Mich., the daughter of Samuel S. and Laura Anna Wilson. She was married in Montpelier, Ohio, in 1890 to James E. Tingle. He died here April 11, 1926. Mrs. Tingle was a resident here for 50 years, coming here from Durand. She is survived by two sons, Rexford R. Tingle with whom she made her home at the E. Michigan avenue address, and Seldon S. Tingle of St. Paul, Minn., and a grandson."
