'Bobby Joe' Heichel, 66, of Green Springs, died Saturday at Memorial Hospital. She was born in Fremont to Lyle Lamar and Maude (Daniels) Craig. She graduated from Green Springs High School in 1951 and served as the senior class secretary. She married Richard E. Heichel on Sept. 22, 1951, and he survives. Mrs. Heichel was a homemaker. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary, Golden Threads and Keen Age Club at Old Fort Bank. She was a Sunday school teacher, Green Springs town band member, 4-H adviser and Camp Fire leader. She was the former president of the Clyde-Green Springs Music Boosters and a member of the OCCL and Tops. Mrs. Heichel owned the Snack Basket and was potluck chair of Haines City Trailer Park, Florida. He is survived by two sons, Randy and his wife Marylou Hutchins of Swanville, Robert Hutchins of Texas; one daughter, Rosemarie Redden of Michigan; six grandchildren, Jacob, Brooke, Evan, Christopher, Brandon and Brianna; one brother, James and his wife, Martha Hutchins, Jr., of Poland Springs; two sisters, Judith and her husband Richard Gross and Ellen Hutchins, all of Bucksport; several nieces and nephews."
