She was born in Mariaville, Jan. 1, 1920, the daughter of Elwood and Flora (Edgecomb) Frost. She is survived by her two daughters, Isabel (Peggy) OHalloran and Judith Bell; five grandchildren, Steven OHalloran and wife, Cathy, Kathy Haass and husband, Greg, Lisa Carter and husband, Chuck, Suzanne Bell and Damon Bell and wife, Amy; seven great-grandchildren, Janeka Doyle and husband, Jeff, and their daughter Charlotte, Chase Haass and wife, Alison, and their sons, Barrett and Beauden, Hailee Carter, Jenna Jordan and husband, Roderick, Carli Blake and husband, Ethan, Grace Gumpp and Jadyn Bell. She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Leslie Tate, and her great-granddaughter, Emily Gumpp. She was blessed to have many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews who were very special to her along with her caregiver and friend, Juli."

[15268] The census in 1900 states Charles was b. in Aug 1890. "Great Falls Tribune [Great Falls, Montana], 13 August 1984," p. 8: "Chester - Wardall, Charles A., 93, died Saturday in the Liberty County Rest Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Chester United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Chester Cemetery, with arrangements by Rockman Chapel. Wardall was born in Norwood, Iowa. He attended country schools near his family farm. He was married June 24, 1913, in Norwood to Minnie Seuser. They moved to Montana the same year to homestead north of Inverness. She taught school there and he farmed. They moved to Joplin in 1928 to farm near there, and in 1936, they moved to California, where he went to work for an aircraft firm. They returned to Montana in 1946 when he was employed as maintenance engineer for the Bureau of Reclamation at the Canyon Ferry Dam. He retired in 1962, and came to Chester in 1976. He lived at Sweetgrass Lodge from 1978 until July 1983. Survivors include two sons, Sterling of Chester and Fred of Richland, Wash.; one daughter, Mary Stillwell of Long Beach, Calif.; a brother, Hewitt of Long Beach; a sister, Bessie Olson of Norwood, and many grandchildren."
