[16834] John m. Deborah Parke or Parks (per Don Barber), b. at Preston, CT in Dec. 1680 to Thomas Parke and wife Mary Allyn. John and Deborah had John (ca. 1704; m. Hannah Billings), Deborah (ca. 1708; m. Joseph Benjamin), Dorothy (ca. 1710; m. Willet Larrabee), Joseph (6 May 1712; m. Elizabeth Wheeler), Jerusha (bapt. 1714, probably died young) and Mary (apparently not married).
[58285] The unverified file L4BT-DKL in familysearch.org offers: "When Ann Corliss was born on 8 November 1657, in Haverhill, Essex, Massachusetts Bay Colony, British Colonial America, her father, George Corliss, was 40 and her mother, Joanna Davis, was 25. She married John Robie on 1 November 1677, in Haverhill, Essex, Massachusetts Bay Colony, British Colonial America. They were the parents of at least 5 sons and 5 daughters. She died on 1 June 1691, in Atkinson, Rockingham, New Hampshire, British Colonial America, at the age of 33, and was buried in Haverhill, Essex, Massachusetts Bay Colony, British Colonial America."
[55181] Roland is son of David Cunningham (n. in 1832) & Margaret J. Hurd (1834-1898; m. 10 February 1853 in Bangor, Penobscot Co., ME).
[27355] "Medieval English Ancestors of Certain Americans," Carl Boyer III (Santa Clarita, CA, 2001), p. 156, states Thurstan was still a minor in 1199 and provides his ancestry. Ancestry.com offers: "Montfort Name Meaning - French and English (of Norman origin): habitational name from any of the numerous places called Montfort, from Old French mont hill (see Mont 1) + fort strong, impregnable (Latin fortis). A Norman bearer of this name, from Montfort-sur-Risle in Eure, near Brionne, accompanied William the Conqueror in his invasion of England in 1066."
