Surviving are two sons, Richard, with whom she made her home, and William of Murrysville, Penn.; one daughter, Mrs. Howard (Helen) Charles of Mansfield, eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Helen Roberts of Akron. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in St. Mark's Lutheran Church conducted by her pastor, the Rev. Carl Cunfer. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery."

[58574] Eva's obituary: "Canton, Maine -- Eva Mae Hanson, 91, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday January 30, 2024. She was born on March 28, 1932 in Wytopitlock to Alonzo Henry and Ruth Estelle (Treworgy) Tuck. She grew up on Mount Desert Island in Bar Harbor and attended area schools where her father was superintendent of schools. She graduated from Pemetic High School, Southwest Harbor in 1950. Eva had fond memories of growing up on the island and loved the ocean and beauty of the many natural coastal landscapes. She enjoyed her visits to her Aunt Eva and Uncle Win in Surry. She learned to play the piano and accordion and in later years played for a church in Columbia Falls. Eva worked briefly as a nurses aide in Bar Harbor Hospital. She married Paul Allen Patten of Ellsworth in March, 1954, and they lived in Bar Harbor before building their own home on Bayside Road in Ellsworth, where they raised their only daughter, Janet. Later, Eva married Bruce Hanson while he was in the Navy and spent a couple of years in Okinawa, Japan. After his retirement from the Navy, they moved to Columbia Falls. She enjoyed the solitude and remoteness of the area with trips to Ellsworth and Bangor for shopping. She was loved by her family and many friends and remembered for her independent spirit and quick wit. Predeceased by her parents and husbands as well as her sister, Majorie Richards and half-brother, Russel Tuck, Eva is survived by her daughter, Janet and her husband, Bill Igoe of Wilton and their sons, James and Nathan; great-grandchildren, Hayleigh and Leif, and nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their deepest appreciation for the kind, professional care Eva received while a resident at the Pinnacle Health & Rehab Center in Canton."
