[18016] "Altoona Tribune, 7 February 1936," p. 6: "Martin L. Wenrich, who died at his home at Point View Wednesday evening, was well known in railroad circles here. For many years he was road foreman of engines and in that capacity rendered an efficient and faithful service to the Pennsylvania railroad company. In recent years he lived retired, but he never relinquished his interest in railroad work in which he spent so many years, as road foreman of engines, as an engineer and fireman. Outside of his service with the transportation company Mr. Wenrich also found time to be of service to the community in various ways. He was deeply interested in fraternal and religious affairs and in all movements looking to the development of the community and the general welfare of the people. His sudden death from a heart attack brings great sadness throughout this section."
